I bought the first book of this series for my daughter. I read it and loved it! The second book was great and I read this third book immediately when it arrived! (Then gave it to my daughter!). Act 3 is wonderful! Had a chance to meet the Authors and they’re both down to earth, wonderful people! This series is a great behind the scenes look into being in the Musical Theater Community. I think this was quite possibly my favorite of the series. I'm a proud musical theater nerd (MTN) and these books are so fantastic. Love these characters and loved this book so much!!!
After the great themes in the first two books I was stunned when sexuality turned to be a main theme in this book. I was taken aback. I was not surprised, just shocked that the theme was embedded in what appeared to be an innocent series. This particular book should be read by a child who is possibly in upper middle school or maybe high school; a child who understands that sexuality is biological process. I think it is wonderful to encounter a vulnerable character, going through the uncertainty of acceptance of his love, of his own acceptance of his own sexuality. This is wonderful. It is also wonderful that this character has a trusting friend. I hope that this book highlights the case that we have or we will all experience the same uncertainty, the same doubts, uncomfort, fear. It is all part of development.

Aside from that I was empressed by the idea of team work that was introduced; by the idea to stay truthful to your own idea and to stay the course despite distractions.

The narration was slightly less dynamic and suspensful than the previous two books. This slower pace is mainly the reason I did not fall in love with this book as much as I fell in love with the other two.
Possibly the best of the trilogy. No, I lie. I love them all equally.

My 11 yr old daughter loves this series. We were excited when the 3rd book was released. She has read all of them several times.
